The 2018 NISHFN Conference is being held on the 11th October at Lagan Valley Island. Our title for this year is “Safety and Quality: The value and impact of simulation Based Education & Human Factors”.
We have a very interesting programme with Keynote speakers to include Human Factors Experts from NASA and Formula 1. This year we have increased our capacity to 200 delegates – Early booking is recommended.

The annual autumn Conference was held for the second year at Riddel Hall on the 20th October 2017. The conference was entitled “Theory into practice: Using simulation and Human Factors training to improve patient Safety”. This inter-professional conference attracted healthcare professionals from many different disciplines to include nurses, doctors, dentists, pharmacists, resuscitation officers, technicians and clinical academics and was massively over-subscribed reflecting the interest and enthusiasm for simulation based education.

NISHFN Autumn Conference – Friday 14th October 2016
The inaugural NISHFN Autumn Conference entitled “Thinking Differently: How do we change behaviour to improve patient safety?” was held in Riddel Hall on Friday 14th October. This sell-out conference attracted presentations from local and national speakers and was supported by industry sponsorship.
